I had a problem with not being able to download from Simtel today.
There was a speedy response pointing me to a discussion board
where a solution for Opera users was given.
It's to do with not enabling the referrer -- Arachne has the same
option. At other sites I've had a page thrown up reminding me
of the error of my ways. I would've thought if Simtel were so
concerned about link-stealing they would publicize the fact with
an error page for every attempted download they couldn't track.
Anyway, this information may be useful to some.
