There could be a problem with orbs itself. Maybe they are under attack ?
I get an apology at http://www.orbs.org.
I get a "Use SSH" when I try to telnet.
I get a "Connection Refused" message when I try to use SSH.
I should at least get a password request I think. :-\
Try different servers: The email links at Virtual Arachne or arachne.cz.
