Weird, there should be no problems with it. Are you sure the download was
successfull? XMS/EMS shouldn't be needed to install it, but I assume you
have some XMS anyway.
I suggest that you don't install into the same directory as an earlier
version. Personally I use c:\arachne.xxx where xxx is the version number
(170 in this case).

I'll pass on this one, others will be able to answer it better.

Hmm... Lars, have you ever printed anything with , or ? I almost never
use my printer so I haven't tested. Perhaps the printer needs to be set to
use a swedish codepage?
How do you other (non-Swedes) do when printing texts with national signs?
People from english speaking countries doesn't count <g>

There's no code to take care of that yet. I assume the mail comes from
Outlook (Express?) user, other mails with , and in seem to be handeld
fine but Eudora (which I'm using) sometimes has problems with this as well.
And it's always when someone that used Outlook when I have bothered to
check. IIRC I've seen the same problems with pine.
And since people have discussed problems with downloading mail I can tell
you Eudora gets this from time to time as well. However it always asks
"download as text" or "remove". I have no clear recollection of where the
messages come from, but I think it has been from L.D a few times (when
attaching HTML files to the message).
