Some of those have nothing at them.
Even the ones that do exist aren't necessarily too
"mirror friendly." What I mean by that is that I
went to ftp.bu.edu/pub/mirrors/simtelnet and fired
up wget. It downloaded ~1.2 MB, and then quit.
I let it sit there for about 2 min. and then ^C.
Ran the wget command again... and once again, at
around the 1.2 MB point, it quit. It looks like
they have some sort of limit in place. Either that
or I just hit one big coincidence.

After trying a few others, I finally settled on
ftp://simtel.galilei.com/msdos/ and to take it easy
on their servers, I put a 2 second delay between
each file retrieved.

  Even with the 2 second delay, I'm getting 20 K /sec.,
so in 8 hours, that should be 576MB. (actual transfer
rates are running between 58K/sec and 112K/sec)
I guess I should have the entire collection in 4 days,
assuming I only wget for 8 hours each night... or if
I lower the delay to 1 second...

I have no idea why I'm doing this since I only boot
to DOS like 3 times a year, but I guess having it around
can't hurt... and once I figure out the postage and
mailer costs, I'll be happy to burn copies for anyone
who wants them. I would guesstimate 4 CD's + mailer +
postage should run somewhere around $12? Maybe less.

Anyway, if you'd rather not go through the whole 52
days, there'll be an easier way in 3 or 4 days. ;-)
