Dear List:
Problems remain, and I have not discovered any perfect answers
to my problems, but I was successful at installing another hard
drive thanks to Roger and the advice of others. Oh, I suppose I
still use MS-DOS almost completely. However, I wanted to try out
Linux a little and learn more about it so I set up the computer
that way. I guess I will find a little more time this week for
List stuff, although not as much as I would like. I guess I am
back to the "newbie" aura again. It's humbling to lose all your
good stuff on your drive, but it helped me see the problems with
depending too much on one drive, etc. Thanks for the CHKDRIVE
program, it's good and says one of my drive has only 2K! for
sectorsize at one point.
