A difficult point. A lot of manhours went into the Win9+ stuff and they aren't deserving of respect in my eyes. However, I must agree that when a single individual puts all that background stuff together and does it in what seems to me to be an original manner - like what Michael did, really, then it is certainly worth keeping an eye open for possible future changes to the 'feel'. I should have remembered to consider that M$ charges for their crap. And I forgot to add the <G> to my closing line.
