As I was cleaning stuff up, I found that the chart BMP had been put into
my "just in case" directory. So I figured I'd take a look at it ... I
did, in Graphics Workshop.

And the BMP was perfectly fine ... 500x300

I think the problem lies within the same area where we've had other
problems ... what Arachne expects, where Arachne looks for information
on graphics, and how Arachne ignores or misuses information.
                             ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Arachne "knew" the BMP was 500x300 ... said so in Title line.

I did a screen shot, and took that back to Graphic Workshop. And what I
found would explain *perfectly* why the rendering of that file is all
skewed:

Instead of writing the BMP to the screen in 500x300 like it should be,
Arachne wrote it as 499 or 498 wide!! Thus each additional line is
moved over to the side and you end up with diagonal skewing.

I know there was another problem somewhere, where Arachne was chopping
stuff off too soon. I think *that* was text, so shouldn't be in "the
same family" as this bug.

For some reason Arachne parameters are truncating or estimating when
precision is required.
