>From all that I have read about these email viruses that are going
around these days, they only affect Windows.  I suppose a good virus
writer could also write an email virus for DOS or for any other
operating system; however, I don't think you could run the virus
program simply by opening the email.  You would have to be stupid
enough to save the attachment and then deliberatey run it before
scanning it.
