I've sent a copy to the address at the bottom of your
message. Let me know if it doesn't arrive.

That's good to hear. I'd like to make it easier for
people to do this. I've started working on a package
that automates the process (except for formating the HD)
and adds some additional functionality (eg. man pages).
I hope to keep this package to less than 800kb.

This will provide the foundation for a pretty good
CLI Linux in a 10meg partition. And with a somewhat
larger partition (say 20-30meg), there is room to
add X, icewm, Netscape 3.04 and xfreecell (hooray!).
Or, if you are not interested in a GUI, there would
be room to install GCC and compile your own programs.

This would be ideal for that old 40meg HDD in the
junk box. There's even room for 8meg of swap.

If by "pure DOS" you mean computers without Windows,
then Linux is used more. However, if you include all
the Windows computers which occasionally run a DOS program
(even though the user may not realize it is a DOS program),
then DOS is probably used more.

Cheers,
Steven
