Well, if it's really the case that all useful Linux software is available in
a "hardened" form that should run on just about anything, then I must revise
my comment re: Linux's immaturity. You are implying that I should be able to
find essentially universal binaries of just about anything. ;-)
This is good, if true, and makes a VERY large difference in the potential
general useability of that OS.
