Greetings...
Well its happened again. My HP Pavilion is on the blink...the other day
just before work, I had been using RH linux with no problem. It shares
half of my HD with w98. Ended my session and halted the machine. Went
to work and when I got home, Joanie tells me the computer ain't working
right. When you boot up, I get a message saying that it cannot find my
operating system!. Went into bios and there is no HD listed!! Pulled
the hd from my 486 and jumped it to the HP...nothing...and I know that
HD works. Makes me think this is not a HD problem. Before I take it
back to Comp USA (still have free service) I thought I would ask the
fine group here for any thoughts.
