Tom,

I don't know what you mean by "non-standard drives."  I run Arachne on two 
machines. both with a C: primary drive and an extended DOS partition that has 
logical drives D: thru K: and Arachne resides on logical drive I: on both.  
Both machines have a RAM drive (L: drive on one; M: drive on the other) on 
which I keep my TEMP, CACHE, CACHE.idx files and I have no problems with 
cache deletion using F8 (except hating the new re-load procedure).  One 
machine has an external modem (28.8) and the other has an internal (33.6) 
modem.

I just dropped a 30GB drive into one of the machines, using Promise's 
DriveMax BIOS update card, but haven't transferred any files to it yet.
