I'm also using a 586/133. (and MSDOS 7.1)
To my surprise, pressing "Your computer" icon reboots my machine. Pressing
the "Files" icon next to it works well. I can produce any file list of any
folder, I have also tried to view some files. It works.

Anyway, Arachne stumbles when trying to produce a drive list.

My cache settings are OK.

This can be because I have two FAT32 partitions and the two Linux
partitions ("/boot" and "/") on the 1st drive. Or, because of the two Linux
partitions (swap and "/opt" and the DR-DOS 7.03 partition on the 2nd drive.

I don't remeber this had ever happened while I was using Arachne on my
386DX/33. Unfortunately this old beloved machine died two months ago :-(
