Hello: I have heard reports of Micro$oft representatives putting on some side shows in their travelling circuses to demonstrate that you can run some popular DOS games on systems running the new Windows XP operating system.
Are these Micro$oft representatives just trying to con people by producing some kinds of smoke and mirrors illusions? Are there lots of suckers out there being fooled by "Micro$oft Magic"? Should anybody believe what they have reported as having seen? It would be fascinating to discover how these Micro$oft clowns perform their most amazing stunts. Maybe Windows XP can be set up so as to able to run some DOS applications, but without a capability to escape or exit to the command prompt. I don't know. Does anybody here know what the true version of the story is? Another question: On a system having Windows XP installed, is it possible to boot from a floppy drive using a DOS system disk and still be able to access files on the hard drive by using the command prompt?
