Ok, exactly how did you get to that point ? When I download a file from an ftp site e.g.: ftp://ftp.penguin.cz:21/pub/Pygmy/09/packages/ idunno some 31k upgrade... everything happens so fast on the status line that all I can recall (aside from the various logging in as guest etc.) is the final: Downloading file: (xxxxx bytes read) and it completes in 13 seconds. (90Mhz PI and 33.6 connection) It sounds like you might be using a different method than I would. Are you using the external FTP program ? BTW, I did not do anything special in setup to get this result. Hit that link above while reading this mail and tell me what happens. If you can't successfully download by selecting that upgrade thingy, hit this: ftp://ftp.penguin.cz:21/pub/Pygmy/09/packages/upgrade091.tgz After the file downloads you will get some text crap on your screen because the file type is not recognized. Just hit F2 to get your save options. After seeing the save options just abandon it by hitting ESC or your "back" function. - Clarence Verge - Back to using Arachne V1.62 ....
