Mel, If you can't find a switching box that would enable you to run the external modem, could you buy a real internal modem to replace the winjobbie: PCI or ISA depending on your motherboard? That would cost about $90 new in the USA. Or maybe you could find an add-on card that would include a serial port for the external modem? Tom, one of the gangue
