Hello: Usually I don't have problems using Arachne on search pages on web pages, except when the page is very badly infested with JavaScript. Today I encountered a problem I don't understand.
At the search page named below I recently used Arachne to conduct a search for Washington Hospital Center of Washington DC. All I got for a result was an error page saying I should try again using an entry for the STATE field. I tried this several times, each time making sure that I selected D.C. as the entry for the STATE field. Every time I got the same error. In using Lynx386 for DOS I got about a dozen good results, with complete addresses and department numbers and phone numbers for all. Does anybody have any idea why Arachne has a problem with this page? http://www.infospace.com/info/index_ylw.htm Yellow Pages - InfoSpace BTW, I have discovered that there is some JavaScript at the site. When I do F6 to view source and then press F7 and enter a search term for "java", Arachne will lock up tight. This happened to me twice. I had to do a cold re-boot each time. The site works fine with Lynx386. Like Arachne, Lynx386 isn't JavaScript capable either. Sam Heywood -- This mail was written by user of The Arachne Browser - http://arachne.cz/
