I had a HD (SCSI) crash the other day, so I had to copy all my DOS files (about 10,000 or 375 Meg) to a spare HD. I didn't time it, but I can tell you that it's a lot faster mounting the DOS partitions in Linux and using "cp" than using "xcopy" in DR-DOS.
