SSH stands for secure _SHELL_ not secure http !!!!
it is simply spoken an authenticated and encrypted telnet.
(with additional features to transmit files, sftp and scp)

This is IMHO either an extremely bad idea, or impossible !
The cost of quiting the browser and starting another process is extremely
high. (this is the reason why I hate the conversion of JPG into BMP)
AND JavaScript needs the internal state of the browser ...
if you quit the browser to call a JS Plugin, were does it get that state
info ?
