My first choice would have been GeoWrite... now NewWrite, I imagine. The whole "windows" package with spreadsheet, database, publisher, games, etc. was like $59 last I knew... the store site seems to be down at the moment, so I don't know how far behind the times I am on pricing. http://www.newdealinc.com/products/products_main.asp?page_name=office There's an evaluation version available for download. http://www.newdealinc.com/products/products_main.asp?page_name=eval It's apparently possible to somehow compile Abiword to run in DOS. If I had the tools to do that in DOS, that might be my second choice. Failing that, I seem to recall I had an old shareware program called Desktop Publisher that fit on a floppy. If I didn't like that, I guess I'd check out all the other WP programs at simtel. - Steve
