from "Mithgol the Webmaster" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : > Take a look at the following URL:
http://mithgol.complife.net/Master/Bug-list/index.htm where some obvious Arachne bugs are mentioned and demonstrated. I browsed this URL with the newest Arachne, and the scrolling was horrendously slow, both vertical and horizontal, what took so long was redrawing the screen. Page was slightly too wide to fit, hence the need for horizontal scrolling, a few letters fell off the right margin before horizontal scrolling. Mithgol, keeping your Web site HTML-compliant is about all you can do. Tailoring your Web site to render correctly with various browsers' bugs is a tall order. There is not only Arachne but also Net-Tamer, Amaya, Emacs W3, Mozilla, Konqueror, and the text-mode Lynx and Links. Has anybody else tested the latest Arachne (1.70;rev.3) on environment news pages linked from http://ens-news.com/index.html ?
