You would first need to save the user data. Do you have antivirus software in place? You could save the current Arachne installation, moving or renaming the directory, so you have the files to compare to the reinstall. You could use FC or COMP to see if any key files have changed, such as CORE.EXE, after seeing if the files are the same size.
