   Neither do I.  :(       At least, I am not sure.

   My local friendly guru suggests that it may be that particular ISP
has set a narrow time window for telnet (and POP3) log-in access before it
closes the port down. If so, it should be possible with a telnet script,
but I haven't yet got a round tuit.
