After I did sent a test mail with "you know who" in the subject line not a piece of mail from the list did reach me anymore. Why this test? To find out if Samuel was right on his suspicions on censorship. I think he is... After a few days trying to mail to the list, without succes, I supposed that I was thrown off the list and tried to subscribe again but... majordomo said I was already subscribed to the list. The addresses looked OK so why was this not working? A few days later I sent Samuel a mail to his private address and this rebounced, including Samuels answer... but... an attachment was made stating that the "To" mail address was corrupt. How can a message arrive if the address is corrupt? Indeed it was corrupt. [EMAIL PROTECTED] was changed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] How is this possible... computers jiggling caracters and majordomo giving me the right address, still vrza.org... Next step. Unsubscribe arachne Next step. subscribe arachne (again) I got a return mail stating "Welcome to Arachne" but... still no mail from the list. Next step. unsubscribe arachne Next step. subscribe arachne... but this time I did not use the 'alias' to vrza.org and all is OK now. X your fingers. To add: all mail, except arachne mail, is OK and has been OK via the alias vrza.org. ********* Questions: Was there any problem to anyone on the List from december 28th untill january 7th ? Would it be possible to manipulate my (or yours) e-mail addresses at majordomo or arachne.cz ? Does anyone know what is this 'majordomo'? An institution, a computer program, a command? Somewhere out there must be a computer collecting and redirecting the mail sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] how and where? ********* A very fine 2002 to all of you.
