printer problems

Greetings-
I just bought a Lexmark printer.  It works with WinME but would like to 
use it when I use Arachne and RH Linux 7.2.  I tried setting it up for 
linux but no luck.  It doesn't seem to know that a printer is even hooked 
up.  I have not tried it in dos yet.
