Greetings all and tnx for the info regarding the printer. I found out from a buddy of mine (who turned me on to Linux) that my printer should work with RH7.2. One error I made was that when I did the config. I did not realize that if I had clicked the arrow instead of the work Lexmark, it would have openned up and shown which printers it supports. I did find the Z22. I did the test, and if worked for about 2 seconds and then locked up. All of this was done while root. Anyway, that is as far as it went and I could not get it to print anything after that. I did try the "cat /etc/fstab >/dev/lp0" and it said that device or resource busy. Close yet so far..... Neil
