Yes.  In fact, you can even specify the size of the allocation (cluster) that 
you want and Partition Magic will tell you the maximum size of the partition 
that you can have, e.g., for one of my 2.1GB partitions, I went to the resize 
operation and indicated that I wanted a 2K cluster and PM said that I needed 
to resize to 125.5MB.

I was in an electronics supply store (not a computer store or discount store) 
the other day and they had a couple of copies of the latest PM on the shelf 
for US$49.99 with a US$15.00 mail-in rebate.

BTW, in the last couple of days I have found out some more things WRT DOS, 
large HDs, and PM that I will share with you in a couple of days.  (The last 
couple of days has, to say the least, been very frustrating!)
