You are a bit too sensitive for this list I think. :) Many of us go overboard when ranting about this or that, as did you in your rebuttal. <G> I haven't even SEEN flash and I know I hate it. I hate it because some people accept it without question, just like they accept B$G$'s suggestion to email googolbytes of Xmas pictures to all their friends. If there was any sign of intellect or self-control in the majority of web site designers out there we wouldn't have a problem. We could have fun sites for the easily entertained, and information sites for the information seekers, and all those other variations. But noooooo. As others have mentioned, Flash, Shock, Javascript and Animation get used in the most unbelievably inappropriate places. You have a right to like Flash and a right to comment as you did, but let's take a poll, eh ? I think there are 131 listmembers today. Would anyone who actually LIKES one of: flash, shock, or javascript please send us a comment saying so, or if you wish to be anonymous go to chat.arachne.cz and post using an alias. Please reply only if you LIKE the protocol or the use of it, NOT if you think we NEED it just because you can't hide from it. Contest close GMT midnight Sunday, Feb. 03, 2002. Some restrictions apply. - Clarence Verge. -- Using Arachne 1.66 on DSL.
