Maybe a little questionnaire would be advisable about who ever tried arachne on a real 8088 or 8086? (I did and found no reason to try again). CGA monochrome is terrible, waiting for it even more so and those who manage to install a vga and EMS expansion boards on an XT will not in the least be hindered to get a 386 to work. (And for those who feel the need to try anyway: there are plenty 8 bit versions available. Last found a rather big Dutch tech university that still has 1.10 for download...) On the other hand the commercial internet is hardly enjoyable without JS these days, so clearly I'd love to beta test any attempt to include it in Arachne.
