Dear All,
After what seems like YEARS of running 1.70r3, here's a problem
that's just started to occur in the last week. Sometimes when I click on
Send Unsent Mail, the status line at the bottom of the screen runs
through each message VERY quickly and then (leaving me thinking that the
messages have gone) returns to the Outbox index with all messages still
there. The first once or twice this happened, I assumed that ARACHNE.CFG
had got corrupted again. I hung up, reloaded the profile, dialled in
again and the messages went as normal. However, I don't think it is
ARACHNE.CFG that's behind it. Today the fault occurred and I reloaded
the profile whilst online. No difference - messages still wouldn't go.
So I enabled SMTP.LOG and here's the content of it:

I suppose that those two lines "Relaying denied" have something to do
with it, but what do they mean? My set-up hasn't changed for months and
I'm still on the same ISP that I've been using for over a year.
And why is it intermittent? I'm just off now to try and send this....
