I went back to HD paths for Arachne and the problem cleared up.
I think maybe the 25Mhz processor and the large 2MB ramdrive got
the machine a little "tired" with only 15MB EXT memory so the
cache2temp scheme had to "call it a day", but I liked the exercise.
Might be good to try out a smaller ramdrive, especially if I am
going to browse/use the machine for a long time. 2 MB ramdisk only
good for about an hour.
