It's now my dedicated digital download machine. (PS/2 mouse means the serial port is free, unlike my linux machine) Whenever I need to get some pics off the digi-cam, I fire up the "new" Win machine. Thing'll only run a few minutes each month, but after a year of NOT downloading any, the memory on the cam was getting pretty full. Now I can start shooting stuff again without worrying about "running out of film." :-) Hey, all (especially, Glenn, IIRC), remember a while back there was a "hey lookit how messy my desk is" kind of contest? Well, I finally have an entry, and you get to see my double-decker computer desk. ;-) http://wizard.dyndns.org/DCP00509.JPG (121K) ...and some photos from yesterday of the bean can / popper roaster... http://twoloonscoffee.com/popper.html (4 photos x ~30K) -- Steve Ackman http://twoloonscoffee.com (for your green bean needs) http://twovoyagers.com (glass, linux & other stuff)
