Glenn, I have delayed replying to you because I wanted to spend
a little time at being more observant of the problem, which is
one I have of course noticed before, but I was unsure if this were
the problem to which you were referring. I have always been aware
that the cause of the problem was Arachne's failure to update the
the old indexes after message files were deleted or moved to other
folders. I never troubled myself to report the problem or to
look for a fix because to me this has always been just a very minor
annoyance. The problem with trying to fix a minor annoyance is that
sometimes it results in the creation of a major annoyance. I won't
fix it at this time, but I might wait until I get around to it.
Right now I have to deal with fixing some major annoyances, and
these are of course not Arachne related. We are happy for your
solution and also I know that you are living a very charmed life
because you have enough free time on your hands even to deal with
fixing minor annoyances.

Regards,

Sam
