Global warming isn't so much about warmer weather as about wild weather swings, erratic climate changes and such like. Wilder storms, dryer droughts, heavier floods, etc.Your great grandchildren might see the climate stabilize to a warmer temp but it's hard to say what'll live through the change or if the warming will stabilize. There are definite signs now that the oceans are warming more than they have in at least 1,000 years, that the glaciers are receding more than they ever have so far as science can determine, and that there is a marked effect of the greenhouses gasses in the atmosphere at higher levels than since the beginning of life on earth.
