Mine is 33Mhz. And I do have Smartdrive set to cache writes. I set it up that way according to advice I got from this list five years ago. It's quite possible that I even got that advice from you! It was either you or John Tomany or maybe Bob Buckland. I haven't had any sort of problem with this setup as far as I can tell. Too bad some of those guys aren't still around. They could help with the new version. Anybody thought about trying to contact some of those knowledgeable guys that seem to have faded away?
