Arachne has to do many things itself, that Opera has not to (because it can
rely on OS functions)
Arachne can only access 640 KB at a time,
arachne is not multithreaded,
arachne calls an external app to convert JPGs and PNGs .......

Have you partitions > 32 MB ??
yes -> forget dos 3.3

PS: DOS can only speed up DOS API calls ...
and arachne does not use sooooooooo many that this would make a great
difference !

What is a turbodisk ??

 BH> I have DSL and a 100 Mbps LAN.
DSL is the limiting factor there ...
in other words it is completely irrelevant if it is a 10 or 100 MBit/s NIC.

Talk to operasoft.com
IMHO this will not happen, because:
1) the market is too little
2) Opera relies on certain functions that the OS should provide, and which
DOS does not provide (normal memory management in protectedmode, built in
TCP/IP stack, threads .........)

BH> Do you know a good way to get a Dvorak keyboard layout in DOS?
get a dvorak keyboard driver.
I don't know where you can find one, but I'm sure that they are out there
:) (google is your friend)
