Dear list: General sympathies for Ron. I was running the DRDOS 6 equivalent until I decided to play safe and found it did not speed things up much when a ramdrive is set up. James said he had an even worse disaster than you did when using Doublespace.
I had an interesting HDD failure lately that I have not yet worked out. The disk will read but not write. I suspect it was caused by an overtemperature event on the CPU whose fan failed. No data lost of course and I must try a low level format. I have seen cross linked files and self referential directory stuctures created by heat garbled CPUs like in the infamous 486 DX66 that I inherited when Oliver suicided.
