Yes, indeed, better not to lose it in the first place. But if you're
working on stuff that you don't want to lose than weekly backup isn't
sufficient. Can you afford to lose a week's work? A day's work?

I know that lots of people run businesses off of one computer and
one hard drive and never back up at all. That would make me very
nervous.

In fact, I'm nervous right now about some stuff on my hard drive
that really should be saved somewhere else too. But I don't have
a routine procedure set up.
