     OK, done that.

     Now to test it. :)

Hey ! Waddya know ! That does the trick.

I also get a little DOS message momentarily: "1 file(s) copied"
flashed onto the screen.

    BUT:

If you have an email in your outbox that you want to add to, or
edit, and click on MODIFY to bring up the Arachne editor, clicking on
Editor Help and back will give you either a blank editing box or a copy
of the last message you had in the editor, not the one you are currently
working on.

     Next fix/patch/oops ?

BTW: A1.71 just wiped out MAIL.HTM, which I had to unerase from DOS.
Sure the cache is full, and I haven't defragged for about 5 days, but
this happened in the middle of a surf on the web. I hit M for mail and
got a "cannot find" message. And sure enough, Norton found "?ail.htm".
I will keep an eye out for this sort of thing again, but I hope it
was an MSDOS thing rather than an Arachne thing.

Also:
I just tried out a little CSS testing. Did you know that in A1.71

              a:hover { color:#xxyyzz }

doesn't work if the hyperlink is wrapped over two lines ?

Regards,
        Ron
