This is what I call extreme enthusiasm ;-) In fact, only programmers and system administrators would like to read *all* man pages. Common users can use desktop more or less simillar to Windows... with OpenOffice.org 1.0 application as 100% replacement for MS Office, and Mozilla 1.0 as 100% replacement for MSIE/Netscape. This is my point of view... man pages and kernel source code are extra bonus for programmers and system freaks ;) 2 others: This is what may be problem: if you don't like Windows, because they are Microsoft, you should be happy with Linux. If you don't like Windows, because it is not DOS, you won't be happy with Linux, because it is not DOS neither. It's just something very different than MS products - MS-DOS or Windows.
