Send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I don't think the subject matters. The body of the message should consist of only one thing: subscribe arachne > > the DOS-discussion list and if one exists, as I > > think it does, a LINUX list. I don't believe there's a linux list at arachne.cz, though we often discuss linux on the arachne list since there is a linux version of arachne... pretty dated at this point. For the widest linux audiences, I think newsgroups are probably best. My news feed carries 710 groups with the word "linux" in their names. For general purpose info, comp.os.linux is pretty good. > > However, no matter what I do I always > > end up with something called "Majordomo" telling me that I can't do > > that, but not telling me how I can. My last attempt was "subscribe > > Arachne", As a rule, linux is case-sensitive. The name of the list is "arachne" so it could be that it didn't recognize "Arachne." -- Steve Ackman http://twoloonscoffee.com (Need green beans?) http://twovoyagers.com (glass, linux & other stuff)
