Just tried it on an ancient 486(dx2 66MHz with 16 MB of ram) which I got for
free.

works with command.com
but has big problems with 4dos.com (but earlier versions IMHO hsd also some)

problems:
large oages are not displayed completely
http://n0cgi.distributed.net/speed/query.cgi?cputype=all&arch=0&contest=rc564

problems with long urls. (for example parameters of a php script are wrong
(truncated ??))
if somebody wants to have a closer look, email me privately for the URL.

if mails are left on the server, they get donwloaded over and over again.

PS: this 486 is really still useable.
I tried arachne and netscape3 on it and it works quiet ok.
And it is a perfect X-terminal for my linux server :))) (dvx or Xappeal)

PPS: Are there any plans for incorporating image conversion into core.exe ??
it REALLY slows down arachne. (it s*cks if you download data with >> 10 kB/s
and than wait loooooooooooooong until all images are converted ...
now I understand the get a cup of Coffee comment.
