Subject: XSwap error with SSI

Hi Glenn, Michael & team,
I am not really memeber of the team, to be true...

many, many thanks for the new release. I finally went through the
files and put together an upgrade for my customized RAM installation.

The new (not yet documented) dgi variable $k sounds very interesting.
Will it be possible to use it for new keywords added to arachne.cfg?

Just a few remarks:

1. The layout of prtbmp.ah does not seem very logical to me. I would
expect "Export as BMP" and "Convert to JPG" in two different dialogue
boxes. Preview of .bmp file and print as .bmp should belong to the
first one, ale the rest to the second one.
At least I hope it disappeared from Save As dialogue ;-) (or not ?)

2. Mime.cfg: in view of the codepage mess I would not recommend to
view rtf files with martha. The code is not available and it does not
read Czech. Last week I had to open some ugly Czech rtf documents. I
finally succeeded with 'unrtf'. The source code is available (for
Linux and DOS) and a programmer will probably easily change the
conversion for the 8bit characters: the existing version of the
program produces html with West European entities. For East European
documents, it should just leave the 8bit chars as they are.
Configuring anything which is not default in DOS (which means anything) should be only optinal, IMHO. But Antiword APM would be nice, but I am too lazy to release it.

3. I am afraid that 171UE is less useable for me than 170r3. Xswap
error returned, and it seems to be worse than ever.
As I told, complete rewrite is needed. Which means programmers with open-source experience must be attracted to join the project, which means open source release of at least somesthing at www.freshmeat.net, which seems to be just too big headache for one person. It's question of shift from "pretending that I am software company" attitude to more community-oriented approach. I can provide lot of expertise on "how web efficient browser should be written" - much more, than when I started to write Arachne. But I don't have any energy left to code it on my own.

It now appears although I do not use any 'reload' at all. What
crashes Arachne are probably two shtml files with I run with
Michael's SSI support program. When I call them from my mail script I
get Xswap error in line 262 of URLOVRL.C
It is not my SSI support, it is SSI support by Vitex, which means it is probably buggy ;-)
