OK, That pretty-much elimionates a directory problem from being the cause. Shall we move on to memory ? <g> What does Alt+M show for "Dos Memory (KB) nnn[+,?,!]green,black,red" on each of the computers in question? My current reading is 154[+]green I have seen this same problem if I load something which "eats-up" some memory and then try to do eMail. BeRightBack _____ There, I caused a similar problem by loading univbe.exe (vesa graphics driver).
