What does this line look like in your mime.cfg ? application/pdf PDF > Also, as with 1.71, a google search with 50 results per page selected will > not give a full page. I am sorry to say that this is one of the side-effects of my "quick-n-dirty-fix" for the Runaway-download-counter-bug. On some large pages which do not send the page-size information in the header. So all we see is on the lower-left of our screen is "Downloading page (nnn bytes read)" (no % shown)(no progress bar) instead of "Downloading page (nnn of nnn bytes) nn% (green progress bar) What is happening is that those long pages (during net-slow-downs), will cause the runaway-dowload-countrer-bug to crash the system when using v1.70;r3 My quick-n-dirty-fix prevents the crash by "forcing" an abort of the D/L before a memory overflow occures. I just now tried google with 100 hits per page and all went fine. But during "peak uasage" times of the day. I would most likely get those same partial downloads that you got. I know this QND fix is not perfect. But I think that most if not all users would agree that a partial download of some pages every once in a while is much better than the crashes that were happening in v1.70;r3 <g> -- Glenn http://arachne.cz/ http://www.delorie.com/listserv/mime/ http://www.angelfire.com/id/glenndoom/download.htm http://www.thispagecannotbedisplayed.com/
