I also appreciated Ron and Glenn trying to give me some idea of the severity of the problem. Maybe I get five or six a week. That's all, so it's hard for me to get too upset about it. I do get lots of legitimate messages from hotmail and yahoo, so I wouldn't want an ISP blocking them altogether. My ISP also offers Postini, but I've neglected to enroll. Maybe I'd try something if I got inundated. But then I would miss the funny variations on the "African diplomat scam" which I think is pretty funny. I can't believe that anyone would fall for that one. But I guess they do now and then. But I don't see how. > RE: Glenn Gilbreath...yes...I also have a yahoo account, and have > friends on yahoo, and hotmail...the DOMAIN is blocked, then I "allow" > specific users to sneak thru.......<g g g g> > RE: GlennMcC....I also have .ru blocked...but...I could let Mithgol's > emails thru, on an individual user basis, or on a mail-list basis. > ......gregy > -- This mail was sent by a user of Arachne - The Ultimate Internet Client Sam Ewalt Croswell, Michigan, USA -- Arachne V1.70;rev.3, NON-COMMERCIAL copy, http://arachne.cz/
