I just checked, now, with the 1.69 and the 1.71 that I currently have running on this minimal-box and neither of them did it. I poked F10, clicked on "Your Computer" (you always mention "My Computer" but I can only find "Your Computer" so I assume you mean that)....I then get "Accessible Drives"....I click on my F: and get a directory listing (with that "\\" in the upper left)....click on that "\\" at upper left...and it takes me back to "Accessible Drives" ...and I then "I" to return to my Inbox from which I started. I do the alternate entry to that sequence, using ALT-F2, which takes me directly to "Accessible Drives" and go through the sequence again. Never, not EVER, have I been able to reproduce your description of your problem on any Arachne version (1.61 thru 1.71) on any of my computers. Now, this is NOT written to try to deny the presense of your problem, nor to minimalize it, but, I ask the other listmembers, now, if anyone has been able to duplicate this...??? I believe Bastiaan, about his problem, but...since I can never get it to bomb, does anyone know how I can tweak my setup so that I CAN get it to bomb, like Bastiaan's computers do. The reason I ask, is that, since it never once does it on my boxes, and ALWAYS does it on his boxes, there is something basic, here, that is different between the equipment/setup on his boxes and that on my boxes...and this difference may be something important that we need to make provision for, for when some newbie happens upon it...or to cure it once and for all, so the newbies DON'T run into it.
