Even more amazing is that I can ftp this file directly over the LAN at a network postscript compatible Laser printer ....amazing but it works! And slightly off-topic .... I had a miserable time with Monkey Linux that crashed and burned as soon as I went graphic. The HDD which I thought was terminally corrupted got up and worked when I put it in another computer. Apparently the video card was arguing with linux. One amazing triumph of Arachne for DOS is its management of a variety of video cards and modes. And back on the issue of printing out of DOS programs ... I had a win with PROTEL who have gone free! they publish both 1280 width video drivers, and export to PCX drivers, and even a BMP2DXF.exe which can take the output to many other programs and their print drivers. The point of 1280 pixel wide displays is not for looking at - my old eyes are attuned to 640 pixels - but if you screen capture at that resolution you get and impressive file!
