Klaus...if I put you on the defensive, then I apologize. For my
style...I am often abrasive and overbearing...when I am only trying
to be emphatic....<g g g g>

Yes...this IS the place for problems/suggestions...and help will
come from here, too.

So, my "sermon" wasn't aimed at anyone, or specific instances...it
was aimed at a general situation that I see developing...and you
can see it, too. Glenn CAN do allthings and everything...if we
clone him, and work all clones 24/7 without rest...and he'll make
a REAL good documentator/administrator/keeper-track-of-er, too,
as long as it's one of his clones. Now, I am being facitious..but
WE need to get ourselves organized.

Michael implemented a sort of standardized "Bug Report"...which, we
were beginning to use, but without new versions, we got out of the
habit of using. Now we are having action, in and around Arachne,
and we need to implement some organization.

I propose that we reimplement a "Bug Report" on the lines of the
one Michael implemented. I'll dig up my copy, and make it into
more of a "template" that we can send out, or post on Glenn's site,
or even on my site. Then when a problem is reported here, we can
"confirm" it is a bug, then a formal-numbered BugReport can be
filed (with whomever...we'll have to pick someone, Michael won't
want to collect them).

Then we (mostly Glenn, right now, but there are others of us who
can do peripheral checking/testing) can work on it, and keep
track of it...and when it's killed...post it as killed, and log
it into a BugKilledDatabase..

This is the kind of thing I was proposing...not that you all should
not post problems/suggestions here.

I am sorry that I gave that impression...

.....gregy
