In article <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> you write:

When you say "developed", does that mean "I wrote it myself" or is that
nearer to "I found somebodies source, changed the name and recompiled
it" ? I ask because VuHTML is a replica (bugs and all) of an early
version of Browse (the last one whose source was public). Indeed your
docs even mention Browse as the start command ! Browse is PD so you can
do what you like with it, but "developed" is a slightly stronger claim
than I would have thought was justified, but then we live an an Alice in
Wonderland world where words can mean whatever you want them to :)
Browse was written as a testbed for the HTML viewer/link-follower in
YAN, but it's started to take on a life of it's own, albeit staying
loyal to the particular and peculiar needs of the online YAN function.
For what it's worth, Browse is still under some sort of development and
the current version, 3.60 (quite a long way from the VuHTML vintage),
can be found at
http://www.huffduff.clara.net
among other wonders :)
